Tamil Thalaivas vs Bengal Warriors match preview

Tamil Thalaivas

Team record so far: L L D L D

League position:  Zone B,6th position

The Tamil Thalaivas unfortunate run of form continue with the two draws and 3 defeats in their last 5 games. The lack of experience in the squad is shining through as the Thalaivas seem to lose grip of matches at crucial junctures. The match against Bengal Warriors will prove to be a test in fire as their high performing rivals are known to be ruthless against opponents that provide them with too much breathing room. Warriors Captain Surjeet Singh has been a shining example for the rest of his team as his performances scream leadership and confidence. Joining him in defense is Ran Singh and Rahul Kumar, who have been unspectacular but dependable in most matches.

Bengal Warriors Raiders Maninder Singh and Jang Kun Lee will look to continue their consistent performances and inflict heavy damage on a Tamil Thalaivas low on confidence. The Thalaivas best bet in this match would be to target the Bengal Warriors relatively average defensive line for raid points.

Bengal Warriors

Team record so far: D W W D W

League position: Zone B, 1st Position

The Bengal Warriors come into this match on a sparkling run of form are they remain undefeated in their last 5 games. They will face a major threat in Thalaivas captain Ajay Thakur, who has been simply exceptional in both offensive ability and consistency this season. Unfortunately, his performances are not enough to gain victories and his team have been woefully under-performing so far. In the Thalaivas defence, Amit Hooda and Anil Kumar will do their best to keep Maninder Singh at bay.

Amit Hooda has impressed, albeit inconsistently and the Warriors will hope today is one of the days he appears lacking. The ankle-hold specialist is a highly aggressive defender and the Warriors will find themselves severely limited if he shows up in top form.
