Corrosion-resistance:
Corrosion resistance is a characteristic property needed for materials that would be a part of final products that would be present in areas with impact of water or sea, affecting them. Currently the most common tests for corrosion testing is the advanced electrochemical tests defined by minimal critical pitting temperatures. Other tests include spray exposures with salts and neutral fields.

Impact strength:
Impact on a metal is integral to evaluate to understand the weight the metal can carry. This property defines the usage in the application process. The impact on a metal is tested by striking a pendulum repeatedly on a small grooved test piece and the impact is measured by the energy it absorbs. The temperature of the test region plays an integral role and it maintained and the measures are calculated according to this maintained temperature.

Hardness of the metal:
Metals are popular for their strength and hardness that they display and the application in different industries are dependent on the hardness of these metals. The tests for the hardness of the metals are measured by the amount of impact the metal can account for. The hardness of the metal is checked on the surface of the metal pieces that are put to the test. These techniques deform the surface and test the impact the deformation has on the piece. A positive test will show that the impression on the surface of the test material surface is symmetrical. Rockwell and rebound methods are the most common tests for evaluating the hardness of a metal.
